The DVD of the 2005 World Judo Championships from Cairo, Egypt, is now available from the Online Store, priced £25.All the action from parts 1 and 2 of the individuals tournament is crammed onto one DVD, with highlights of all 16 categories.
The 110 minute DVD contains over 170 ippons. It begins with the +100kgs – where a clash of styles brings together Japan's Yasuyuki Muneta and Russia's Alexander Mikhaylin in an absorbing final.
It continues at a fast pace, starting with the heavier weights and concluding with the lighter weights, including Craig Fallon's (GBR) remarkable gold medal winning performance in the -60kgs.
The conclusion comes with both Openweight categories. Two fantastic finals take place with Midori Shintani (JPN) and Karina Bryant (GBR) battling it out in the womens, followed by a grudge match in the mens between Dennis van der Geest (NED) and Tamerlan Tmenov (RUS).
The DVDs will be in stock with Fighting Films from December 18.
