The 2007 World Judo Championships DVDs will be split into two parts - 'The Heavyweights' and 'The Lightweights & Open'. The tournament, which was held in September in Rio, Brazil, was a huge success and it contained some stunning action.
Both DVDs will be the first World Championships that Fighting Films produce in widescreen. There will be more background and archive footage than ever before. The viewer will be able to see judo legends such as Ryoko Tani and Kosei Inoue win multiple World Championships in years gone by before seeing how they fare in Rio.
101 Judo Games will be FF's ground-breaking new coaching DVD in 2008. It will follow a similar format to 101 Judo Ippons, and will show the best 101 Judo Games, which have been filmed in Japan and Britain in 2007.
Like 101 Judo Ippons all the games can be played from start to finish, or the viewer has the option of going into seperate categorised sections with games divided by age group or game type.
By February 101 Judo Ippons 2003-05 will be a five language DVD, with the addition of French, German, Spanish and Japanese to the existing English version.
The Gokyo will be the latest FF book. In colour and hardback it will show studio and competition examples of every throw included in the latest version of the gokyo.
