Adams held seminars on grips, tactics, preparational and skills training, while Hicks lectured on judo notation and video analysis, during April.
The pilot course aims to provide students of the sport with an opportunity to study, train and further develop their capabilities in an area in which they already perform to a high standard.
World-class coaches and ex-fighters were sitting the judo programme, including world champions Graeme Randall, Kenzo Nakamura and, indeed, Adams himself.
