The Superstar Gi had a brilliant debut at the World Judo Championships in Paris, France. Ilias Iliadis, pictured left, was the superstar of the tournament, winning five contests by Ippon, all with different techniques and taking home the gold medal.

Georgia's Olympic Champion Irakli Tsirekidze, took bronze in the -100kgs, wearing the Superstar, while GB's Colin Oates took fifth place in the -66kgs.
