The aim of this book is to offer a wide scope of mental and physical aspects of judo, which encompass many years of practise, experience and development. The objects being to assist teachers and coaches at all levels of experience to improve their knowledge by using the various suggested approaches in order to offer the maximum benefits when teaching judo to children of various ages.

The authors of this book have been active judoka both as competitors and coaches at all levels of Judo in the UK and abroad. They have taught and coached judoka at all levels of competition, from club judo to those who have competed at and won medals at the Olympic Games, World, European, Commonwealth and National Championships.
