After the success of Fury on the Mat, the 1999 World Champion has released Grip Like a World Champion, which focuses on the gripping system that proved so successful for Jimmy Pedro at international level. The DVD includes gripping patterns, different styles of gripping from around the world, and competition examples from Pedro.
Gripping is one of the most important and fundamental judo skills. It is the first thing you do in every single match; yet, it is the least taught and understood skill of the game. Gripping can be mastered by everyone; but, it requires discipline and a system that must be followed all of the time to be successful.
